You will give & receive lash/brow tinting and brow waxing treatments as part of the course. Lash treatments will be completed using a mannequin training head.You will give & receive treatments as part of each of the training days included within this training package. You will need to remove nail extensions/gel polish before the manicure & pedicure course if applicable. You must not have received cosmetic procedures such as skin fillers or microblading within the 12 weeks prior to attending the training courses. On the Waxing course you’ll be required to give and receive treatments therefore will need to ensure you allow hair (re)growth in the areas to be covered on the training day to a minimum of 0.5cm length to ensure all students have the best possible opportunity to practice their skills. Male students will need to provide their own female model for the waxing course only.

This Multi Buy Course Package consists of eight practical training days:  These courses are not run consecutively and you can choose the dates to suit you at your desired training centre (subject to availability).

Each training day runs from 10am – 4pm and we ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch.

We do not include any kits within our training courses, however we provide all products and tools required to complete the practical training on the day, at the training centre for you to use. We took this approach following student feedback so that students are not tied into specific kits or brands of products as part of their course fee, before they are trained and able to make an informed choice. Our training courses teach the generic treatment techniques and processes, they are not brand specific.

We recommend attending training where you will gain advice about different brands and suppliers to enable you to purchase products from your chosen supplier directly following your training. Manicure and pedicure treatments are an essential skill for any therapist – all of us want attractive hands, feet and nails. Natural nail treatments, in particular, are growing in popularity amongst all ages and the addition of luxury treatments allows you to up-sell your clients and boost earning potential and Gel Polish is an excellent option to help with this as it provides a quick, lucrative treatment which clients will need to return every 2-3 weeks to renew. Acrylic Nail Extensions are also extremely popular as a convenient way to improve the appearance and lengthen natural nails for special occasions or all-year round wear with maintenance needed every 2-4 weeks.

Facial treatments are also in high demand with many wanting to achieve flawless, natural skin without needing to apply make-up. A facial is great for relaxation and pampering, but also to help prevent the premature signs of ageing. Waxing treatments are sought after all year round to achieve smooth, hair-free skin, with clients returning every 4-6 weeks, creating a continual source of income (earning up to £50 per hour) particularly during the summer months.

Lash & brow treatments are a staple treatment all year round for therapists and help to build regular, loyal clients as maintenance is required every 2-3 weeks. Eyelash extensions are one of the most in-demand treatments in the industry currently and you’ll gain advanced skills within lashes with the Classic and Russian Volume courses in this package. Add this to brow treatments with the Highly Defined Brows course and you could be earning up to £50 an hour with your lash & brow skills alone. This exciting training package combines some of the most profitable treatments from the salon, allowing you to earn whilst working from home or mobile to suit both yours and your clients’ lifestyle.

Our diploma courses are suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

All products and tools are provided for the training days at the centre when you attend. No kit is required to complete the training days, nor included in the course fee. On the training days, you only need to bring a hand and bath towel for your personal use, completed enrolment form and cold food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). No models required as you’ll give and receive treatments working with other students, except for male students attending the waxing course only where you’ll need to bring along your own female model. For lash extension and acrylic nail extensions courses you’ll work on a training head/hand.

When you have successfully completed your training day(s), you will receive The Beauty Academy diploma which is fully Accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). This allows you to gain public liability (beauty) insurance to work with paying clients.

We’ve been providing professional training since 1990 so our diploma is well recognised and accepted within the beauty industry, giving you and your prospective clients confidence in your skills and professionalism.

Diplomas are sent by email within 2 working days of attending your course, allowing you to quickly get started with obtaining insurance, purchasing products/tools from your preferred supplier, and earning offering your treatments to your clients!

Upon successful completion of this course, you will feel entirely confident within your treatment skills. We recommend taking some time to practice your skills following training but you can look to start working immediately as you wish!

Once you’ve received your certificate, you’ll be able to obtain public liability (beauty) insurance and purchase products/tools from your chosen supplier.
