This course is accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). The Beauty Academy Diploma is recognised for insurance to offer your treatments on completion.
1 Day Course from 10am – 4pm approximately. Short break for lunch. Please arrive at the centre for registration at 9.45am.
Hands-on practical course with tutor led demonstrations & student practising skills working in a pair with another student to give and receive treatments throughout the day.
Upon booking, you’ll be sent a confirmation email with course e-manual attached. We recommend reading this before your training day to get the most from your course.
As part of this pre-course learning and tuition on the training day, you will learn the following:
- Health & Safety around nail treatments.
- Anatomy & physiology of the skin & nails.
- Consultation procedure & contra-indications to these treatments.
- Procedure for a standard manicure & pedicure.
- Luxury aspects including use of heated mitts / booties with mask & paraffin wax.
- Comprehensive e-manual covering all aspects of theory & practical techniques.
- Practical training in a highly equipped, permanent training centre (no hotels or meeting rooms); taught by a qualified, experienced beauty tutor.
- 1-2-1 time during the training day to get feedback & support from your tutor.
- Training in a small class setting. Typically 2-12 students maximum per tutor.
- Training equipment provided on the day, so no kits required to attend.
- Practice with other students – no hassle of finding models.
- Diploma certificate issued by email to you.
- Fully accredited & insurable course so you can gain public liability insurance.
- Unlimited ongoing support from our expert team by email, throughout your studies & beyond; into your new beauty career.

You will need two large clean towels for your personal use on the Manicure & Pedicure Course.
This course is available across all 9 of our training centre locations across the UK including London Clapham Junction, London Bridge, London Euston, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Reading, Milton Keynes & Newmarket. Book whichever is most convenient for you.
Manicure & Pedicure treatments typically earn you between £15-£50 per treatment. Maintenance is required every 2-6 weeks depending on the client so you can quickly build a regular client base. Purchase beauty insurance and start your own freelance business from home or mobile!
Manicure & Pedicure inc Luxury Treatments Training Course
Manicure & Pedicure treatments are fundamental skills for any nail technician. It is essential to know how to work safely & hygienically to improve the condition and appearance of the skin / nails of both the hands and the feet. This course makes a great introductory course before progressing onto more advanced nail treatments, but also teaches you to provide standalone treatments which are popular all year round.
