I attended one of The Beauty Academy’s lash courses last weekend, and found it to be a lovely & pleasant experience throughout.Our trainer was incredibly friendly & informative, and she made us all feel safe & confident enough to ask any questions we had - she was really honest with us too, which helped me understand so much more!I found the course to be really thorough (covering client consultations, patch tests & contra-indications, lash prep, lash application, aftercare, insurance, equipment & more!), and for someone who had never done lashes before, I left the training centre feeling well-educated & confident😄HIGHLY recommend!
Just finished my 8th caurse with the beauty academy birmingham, I did classic hybrid and volume lashes, mani pedi, gel polish acrylic and uv gel extensions, and advanced waxing, all caurses was with amazing tutor Carolin, Yvonne and the new girl (can't remember her name) thay are amazing, helpfully, and give great advice, thanks to the hole of the birmingham team for making my training a great experience
Attended a facial course at The Beauty Academy and it was fantastic! Exceeded all my expectations, I did expect a full classroom course but was so glad it was practical and had lots of hands on experience, I've also recommended the academy to a family member who will be booking soon. Was a great day and I am looking forward to booking further courses. Overall an absolutely amazing day.
Unfortunately my experience at the Manchester academy wasn't great on the Brow Lamination Course. Personally I didn't think the teacher was right for the course and therefore didn't get great learning out of the practical course what I was hoping for. I have left feeling not so confident. I fed this back to the head office who offered me the online course however I paid for a practical course because I learn better through practice so I respectfully declined. If this is the standard for this academy's Brow Lamination Course then I highly recommend against doing it with this academy. Instead find someone who specialises and practices in Brow Laminations specifically. £229 down the drain for me unfortunately.

So i attended the Manchester location and did the acrylic nail course with karen!! Honestly she is the most lovely and welcoming person i have ever met. I can be a chatter box sometimes and ask way to many questions but karen had the patience with Me and answered all my questions. We had learnt all the basics on acrylic nails. I would highly recommend!!!
Absolutely loved my Gel Nail training, Yvonne really covered all aspects of UV Gel nails and I am very confident to practice and perform Gel Nails and will definitely return in the future for other courses! Thank you x
I have been a student at the beauty academy twice now and have had the same amazing teacher called Karen , Karen is a natural teacher she explains and demonstrates procedures in a way very easy to understand , every question you ask is answered no matter how silly it may seem, she is very patient and will keep explaining or showing you till you have mastered it , I can honestly say Karen is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had ,, the school is comfortable and you feel very at ease there , the courses are very reasonably priced , enjoyable , the other students are all lovely too , I really enjoy going there and can’t wait to do my next course ,,, thanks Karen you do a fantastic job ,,,,,
Rebecca was an amazing trainer at Leeds Beauty Academy. Very friendly and funny. She made the learning fun and we had a laugh whilst teaching us in depth skills! She knew every answer to all of us student’s long list of questions. I now feel confident - thank you x

It felt amazing and welcoming because of My tutor , she was absolutely wonderful in all aspects of teaching. Went in and did Manicure and pedicure, gel extensions and Acrylic extensions. I had Rachel as my teacher and she was AMAZING 🤩…. WOW. What can I say, an amazing academy an amazing course but the best of all AMAZING STAFF. Yvonnne was absolutely incredible, what a lady!!! I started my adventure with beauty about 7 years ago from a facial and skincare course with Yvonne. This amazing woman infected me with her passion. That's why I kept going back to the next courses: microdermabrasion, electrical facial, massages, pedicures, eyebrows, eyelashes, nails, ...Sometimes I was a really creepy student, especially the last two which were difficult for me. However, the patience of another wonderful woman, Katy, allowed me to complete these courses successfully.At the encouragement of both ladies, I decided to do NVQ 2 and 3. During the year I had to get NVQ, my life turned upside down. I underwent 3 surgeries, one of which was life-saving. I was afraid that I would not be able to complete the competencies before the deadline.Then the support team came to my aid, extending the deadline for completing the course, for which I am extremely grateful. I was able to pass my written exam on the first try and Katie made sure my practical exam went very smoothly. Therefore, if you love what you do and want to learn new skills, I believe that this is the best beauty school you can choose.The professionalism, experience and passion of the teachers is amazing ! I have just completed the VTCT Level 3 Electrical Facial with Yvonne. Yvonne was so knowledgeable and passionate about the beauty industry. Our group for these last couple of days was lovely too. I am looking forward to continue the rest of my course at the Beauty Academy.
An absolutely brilliant training day at the Beauty Academy. We had a wonderful trainer, Katy, she was extremely knowledgeable and made the day really excellent for us. The course was very thorough and has hugely helped build confidence to go off and do treatments on clients.As a small group of 4, we did the basic facial course which I would highly recommend for getting started. We were allowed to use our own Tropic products, which was really helpful.Parking was easy to find, nearby and relatively cheap. Toilet facilities at the venue were basic as there was only one ladies toilet. There was a small breakout area which didn’t have enough chairs for the number of students, but we were grateful for the provision of tea and coffee.Katy answered all of our questions at the end, we would be happy to return to the Beauty Academy for further courses.
Had the best tutor Katy today!!. From start to finish she done outstanding! I would highly recommend the beauty academy to all my friends and family! She has great attention to detail and is very understanding!. She goes above and beyond! Definitely makes you feel at ease! You leave with confidence and loads of knowledge! I have been looking into doing beauty for a while and waxing was one of the things I was interested in so I went ahead and booked the course, I was very nervous as I have never done anything in this industry before but Katy put me and the other girls at ease what an absolute pleasure to have trained with such a lovely group. Any questions or queries Katy was more than happy to answer and she covered absolutely everything including insurance providers, wholesalers, social media… I will definitely be returning to add a wider list to my beauty qualifications. I also highly recommend the beauty academy. Looking forward to returning, a massive thank you to Katy!
I had an amazing experience yesterday with my waxing course. Katie my trainer was extremely thorough and attentive throughout her training. With it being my first time waxing I was nervous around technique but Katie put us at ease straight away. I would recommend to anyone wanting to add waxing to their treatment list. I highly recommend training at the Beauty Academy Birmingham. My Tutor Katy was absolutely amazing! So professional and friendly, made me feel very welcome could of not asked for a better Tutor. She provided a high quality course and experience from start to finish. Her attention to detail and professionalism is inspiring. Such a Beautiful, very hygienic, clean and professional environment. I did the Manicure and Pedicure with Luxury Treatments course and the Acrylic Extensions course which were incredible. I learnt so much in the two days! The courses are seamless, I would highly recommend training here.
Honestly I am so over the moon with the level of professionalism, genuinity, love and passion Katy put into my 2 day course for spa body massage. The way that woman knows her stuff, and the amount I learnt in 2 days was shocking. Even at other places where I have done courses, I felt I needed more guidance and teaching. Here at The Beauty Academy, with Katy in particular, I feel like she WANTED to see me go far. Defo booking my lash course with her in particular, even though I have already done a lash course somewhere else, I want to do it over again so that Katy can teach me. Il be much better at them then I feel. Thank you thank you thank you for your hard work and dedication. Need more teachers like her around.
The Beauty Academy Cambridge Reviews
Do not use the Beauty Academy!!! Terrible customer service by the bookings team. They sell you courses and then cancel them. They then give you a voucher code to book another course which they then say can't be used on certain courses even though it processes through their website. They are not willing to help the customer at all!!
I have attended multiple course at The Beauty Academy Cambridge! I started on journey in 2019! I’ve completely courses which include; make up, acrylics, manicures & pedicures, waxing, tinting, eyelash extensions & facials! I now own (thanks to the Beauty Academy) a successful business which I wouldn’t have been able to achieve without them. The tutors are spectacular and the facilities and wonderful! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to train! I’m constantly checking for new courses to expand my services and I’ll 100% be back! I recently attended the 2 day Swedish massage course in Cambridge and I can honestly say, it was so worth it! Our tutor, Rachel was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She made the course such a relaxing environment for a bunch of strangers. I know personally I feel so confident in using the techniques she taught us going forward as she made sure that even with a group, she gave individual attention and made sure we were all confident and comfortable with what we were learning. I look forward to attending more courses in the future.
Recently I attended the two day express Swedish massage course. As someone who has had little experience massaging, I feel very competent to go away and practice!I learned so much over the course of two days. It’s very hands on practical as we worked on each other, with our WONDERFUL teacher Rachel. Rachel gave us so much information with all her experience, and a couple of options when it comes how to approach certain moves. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get into this practice. A very chill and friendly approach environment, all with fellow students eager to learn! 100% will be back as already booked to go onto learn Indian head massage.
I loved the massage course at The Beauty Academy the teacher Rachel had a very uplifting personality and it was fun learning process. She has shown everything you need to know to start working as a massage therapist and even gave some extra knowledge. I'm very satisfied.
I had my eyelash technician training last week with Rachel. I thoroughly enjoyed it!! We learnt so much and Rachel was a fantastic tutor. She went through absolutely everything with us until everyone on the course was confident enough with it. I highly recommend The Beauty Academy for any beauty training! The Skincare and Facial Massage course was so interesting. This was my first time ever entering the beauty world, and the tutor was so kind and welcoming. The facilities and space were fantastic. I liked that we got the course notes before the date of the course to read through, and then on the day we went through essentials and also had a large amount of practical learning with the chance to practice giving facial treatments. As well as the content of the treatment, we were also given so many tips and advice on stuff about setting up your own practice. The tutor Rachel was absolutely lovely and very very good at her job. She was a great role model in how to act as a professional in the beauty industry and I loved how she went out of her way to compliment each one of us by saying something positive about our appearance. Her teaching approach was sensitive, she was full of knowledge she shared and she was very good with managing the group in a humourous and nurturing way. Very inspiring lady.
I just attended a 3 day nail course. The courses were really good and very informative.The course structure and the training centre was great.My tutor Rachel was brilliant and very welcoming.I will definitely be attending further courses in the future.
Manicure/Pedicure at Cambridge - Another brilliant course with Rachel. Looking forward to completing other nail courses.Reflexology - I have never had reflexology before but have always been curious about what it entails and if it actually works. This is a wonderful treatment and so interesting. Lorraine was very patient with me! Also a very good pace. This course definitely needs two days. The moves didn't come naturally to me but by the end of day 2 I felt much more confident and relaxed. I can't wait to offer this treatment. As always... great tutor and have met really lovely people along the way.Microdermabrasion - Another great course. Great to add on to the Electrical Facials course. Rachel, as usual, was informative and clear in her teaching and I left the day feeling confident in my ability to carry out the treatment. Thank you!Electrical Facials two day course! Wow… so much learnt in two days and feel confident in the treatments already. (thanks again Rachel!👌). Cambridge is a really great centre to go to. Very welcoming. I feel at home there! Close to Cambridge city centre but not so close you have to battle with the traffic. Parking available and also super close to Cambridge North station if you need to get there from a little further. Microdermabrasion tomorrow… bring it on! 🙌😁Spa Body Massage - amazing course. Would definitely recommend doing this course in addition to the Express MassGe. Loved this so much - plus Rachel have given me so much confidence in myself as well as teaching me so much…. I’ve enrolled in the VTCT…. A LITTLE BIT ADDICTED!Express Body Massage - Another fantastic course with Rachel. I love completing The Beauty Academy courses in Cambridge - the tutor is so welcoming and I have met some really lovely people along the way. Learning so much and at the same time having a really great day. Again, training was spot on. I will be booking in more courses!Indian Head Massage… Another amazing course at The Beauty Academy Cambridge. It is the second time I have completed a face-to-face course there with Rachel (first time with facial and skincare course). She is an amazing tutor!!! I do not know how she manages to teach so much in one day and not only make it sink in but also make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience! + such a lovely person! I can’t wait for my express massage and spa massage courses in a couple of weeks’ time. Such a shame there’s not more of a selection of courses in Cambridge though. Overall - can’t rate it enough. I need a 6 star option!
I just had a 2 days massage course with Rachel. Our group had an amazing time. It was fun but also really productive. The classroom is really neat and organised. Really accessible location, parking available and near a train station. Training course was delivered by Rachel who was lovely and a great teacher. Really enjoyed the day with a great group of ladies, lots of information and tips to take back home to practice. Will definitely be returning for other courses!
Really enjoyed my brow lamination course. The centre was easy to find with a welcoming greeting by Rachel the tutor. She was very helpful and informative. I have left feeling confident from my training and learning.The only issue is known problems with hotmail accounts, I did not find my course instructions ahead of the course. They are under a different email to the booking confirmation ones and go straight into junk mailbox.I will be back for more courses. Thank you xxx

Just completed the Lash Lift and Tinting course with Rebecca in Leeds and overall it was a great experience. She's got such a fun and engaging way to teach. She is super approachable and easy to understand, especially for a complete beginner in beauty like myself. Highly recommend!

In total I have done 6 nail courses at the Beauty Academy, 4 by Jess and 2 by Rebekah! They are fantastic tutors and I couldn’t of asked for better, all 6 courses were interesting, informative and very relaxed! Both Jess and Rebekah have given me the knowledge and practice I need to go on and start my own career in the nail industry and I can’t thank them enough! Anyone feeling hesitant about doing a course, don’t, they put you at ease and make you feel so welcome! Thank you once again Jess and Rebekah!
Passed my highly defined brow course today with the beauty academy Leeds and I will 100% be goinf back for more training! The tutor was amazing and the loveliest lady! It was such a relaxed environment. Couldn’t recommend more!
I completed all 3 lash courses (classics, hybrids and lash tint and Russians). I went in with absolutely no knowledge of anything to do with lashes apart from the vague idea as I get them done frequently myself. I was taught all three sessions by Rebekah and I can genuinely say she made the experience amazing! She was so friendly, caring and attentive and I feel as though she went above and beyond to give me all the knowledge I needed and has made me feel confident enough that I feel like I know what I am doing and how to do it successfully, and it only took 3 days to learn. The course itself was engaging and thorough and I genuinely couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone who is considering doing it, it is worth the money and was one of the best experiences. I will definitely be returning to take further courses in the near future.
I Have done Hybrid , Classic and Russian Lashes course with Rebekah and Nails Tech courses Acrylic, UV Gel extensions and Gel paint courses with Jess in Leeds Branch and I loved the courses. Both of my tutors have been really helpful and build my confidence throughout the course.I will be definitely coming back for more courses which I have already booked for April.I also looking forward to explore new courses.Thanks Beauty Academy Leeds for providing us best Teachers they are so kind and humble, down to the earth.

My tutor for Classic lash extensions was Kerry and she was wonderful. She was very supportive and instructive throughout the whole session and broke things down very well. The space was lovely, clean and professional and I will take another course here again in the future!

Kerry is such an amazing tutor, I came for brow lamination which was brilliant and she is happy to answer any questions. One thing I would change is that when the instructions were sent out to do the patch test it did not state you had to patch test all products it just said ‘’mix A&B together’ as most of us did not do the patch test with all products we could not do the whole process on each other only a wax & tint. But, Kerry was amazing and let us do the whole process on her. Would definitely return for more courses.

I did the 3 lash courses here at clapham junction venue and was impressed with the level of teaching in all three, the one teacher that stood out to me was Fleur as she was meant to have 3 other student in her class and i’m the only one who showed up 🙁 She put all her effort and support into teaching me Russian lashes and making fans, she even made me a cup of tea!! i love learning at the academy !! 🙂
