This course is accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). The Beauty Academy Diploma is recognised for insurance to offer your treatments on completion.
You must have previously completed our 1 day Beginners Waxing or equivalent training elsewhere before taking this course!
1 Day Course from 10am – 4pm approximately. Short break for lunch. Please arrive at the centre for registration at 9.45am.
Hands-on practical course with tutor led demonstrations & student practising skills working in a pair with another student.
Students must be fully willing to participate in training, working in a pair with another student to both give and receive intimate female waxing treatments. Students must allow hair to grow in these areas prior to the course, where physically possible. This enables all equal opportunity to practice.
Male students will need to bring along their own female model upon which to practice.
Upon booking, you’ll be sent a confirmation email with course e-manual attached. We recommend reading this before your training day to get the most from your course.
As part of this pre-course learning and tuition on the training day, you will learn the following:
- Health, safety & hygiene
- Consultation techniques
- Contraindications
- Techniques for using hot wax
- Brazilian wax procedure
- Hollywood wax procedure
- Aftercare advice
- Comprehensive e-manual covering all aspects of theory & practical techniques.
- Practical training in a highly equipped, permanent training centre (no hotels or meeting rooms); taught by a qualified, experienced beauty tutor.
- 1-2-1 time during the training day to get feedback & support from your tutor.
- Training in a small class setting. Typically 2-12 students maximum per tutor.
- Training equipment provided on the day, so no kits required to attend.
- Practice with other students – no hassle of finding models. (NB: male students attending this course will need to bring along their own female model upon which to practice).
- Diploma certificate issued by email to you.
- Fully accredited & insurable course so you can gain public liability insurance.
- Unlimited ongoing support from our expert team by email, throughout your studies & beyond; into your new beauty career.
No models are required. Practice on professional training hands.

Waxing treatments typically earn you between £15-£30 per treatment. Maintenance is required every 2-8 weeks depending on the client so you can quickly build a regular client base. Purchase beauty insurance and start your own freelance business from home or mobile!
Advanced Intimate Waxing Training Course
Our Waxing Course is a pre-requirement to completing the Advanced Waxing Course. Please ensure you have completed this or equivalent training elsewhere already prior to this course.
Our Advanced Intimate Waxing Course is designed for those who are trained in warm waxing, and would like to further enhance the waxing treatments able to be offered to clients from home and/or mobile. You will be taught specialized, female intimate waxing treatments and learn the theoretical knowledge, as well as safety procedures involved in practicing these treatments to an industry-standard. A hair removal specialist can command as much as £50 an hour, so this is certainly a lucrative treatment to be able to offer to clients.
Note: Students give and receive treatments working on pairs of students during training. See below to check your suitability for this course.
