It is also ideal for those who may have completed practical training courses covering treatment skills within beauty therapy but where their training did not cover deeper theory aspects and they now wish to understand more.

Retake the tests as often as you need until you achieve the pass mark of 70% for each ensuring you feel confident of your knowledge and understanding. Guided through our Online Student Portal, you will learn the essential knowledge within all aspects of anatomy and physiology. Upon completion of the online course, you will receive The Beauty Academy certificate in Anatomical & Physiological Knowledge of Body Systems which is great for demonstrating your advanced theoretical knowledge to progress onto further training, as part of continual professional development (CPD) or just for furthering your understanding when working within beauty therapy as a mobile, home or salon based therapist to better consult with and provide treatments to your clients.

Course duration

You have 12 weeks to access our online student portal & view the online course resources at your leisure from date of enrolment. This course is taught through e-manuals & multiple choice tests. There is no ‘live’ online teaching session to attend so you are free to study online at a time convenient for you.

We anticipate students to take a minimum of 12-20 hours to complete this online course.

Course entry requirements

You will need access to a pc / laptop (recommended), tablet or mobile device connected to stable, high speed internet to access the online student portal. You will need a good command of English to get the most from this course.

Our online courses have been designed to take you from beginner level, to confident to offer your treatments to paying clients on completion of the course. The courses cover the theory via detailed e-manuals with short multiple choice tests to support your learning through our online student portal. You must achieve 70% or above on each test to pass but can retake each test instantly, as often as you require to pass. You only retake those questions previously answered incorrectly on each attempt to make it easy to learn and achieve. This course is suitable for complete beginners with no prior knowledge or training within beauty required to take the course. You can claim your certificate by simply emailing our team once you’ve completed all aspects of theory and passed all tests on our portal.

No pre-requirements, suitable for beginners to beauty or existing therapists; however a good understanding of spoken and written English is required.

What qualification will you receive?

Within 7 working days of notifying our team you’ve completed your online course by email, our team will check your progress on the portal and be in touch by email with your certificate.

You will achieve The Beauty Academy Certificate on completion of this course, recognising the knowledge and skills learnt as part of this course.

You will then be able to gain insurance to put your new skills into action / use your certificate towards meeting the entry requirements for more advanced training courses.
