Hybrid Lash Extensions is an advanced lash technique using a mix of 1 to 1 classic lashes and volume lashes. Tinting allows you prepare natural lashes for lash extensions to ensure blending of the false and natural lashes. You will learn:
- Health & Safety around lash treatments.
- Anatomy & physiology of the hair, skin & eyes.
- Consultation procedure & contra-indications to lash treatments.
- Application of hybrid lashes, maintenance & removal procedure.
- Lash tinting patch testing & procedure.

General Course Information
Entry Requirements
You must be aged 16 years or over to attend our classroom courses. This course is suitable only for those who have already trained within Classic Individual Eyelash Extensions Training Course or equivalent training with an alternative provider to cover these fundamental lash skills.
Course Duration / Timings
This course is completed within 1 day. The course duration is 6 hours, you will attend from 10am – 4pm with a short break for lunch. Please arrive at 9.45am for a prompt course start.
Dress Code
If you have beauty uniform (tunic, fitted trousers etc.) this would be ideal. Otherwise smart, comfortable clothing suitable for the practical nature of the courses, such as short sleeved t-shirt with trousers or leggings would be suitable. Shoes must have a closed toe and flat sole. No flip flops / sandals for safety. Long hair (as applicable) should be tied back. Valuables such as jewellery should be removed and left at home.
Course Structure
Structure:
You will attend for 1 day from 10am – 4pm with a short break for lunch. The course is very much hands-on practical throughout the day. Short introduction on the theory followed by tutor demonstration & practical work by students. There are no exams or case studies required, your competence is assessed informally by the tutor throughout the training day.
Models:
No models are required for this course. Practical is carried out using a professional mannequin training head allowing you the maximum time possible during the training day to work upon acquiring and demonstrating the required techniques. Therefore there is no requirement to remove any lash extensions or make up prior to attending the course as you will not receive any treatments on the course.
You will need to bring:
Cold food (salad or sandwich) for your lunch. Clean hand towel for personal use on the course. Pen/paper if you wish to make any brief notes.
Kits:
No kit is included in the course fee. All products / tools required to complete this course as provided at the centre for your use on the training day. Guidance will be given on the day by the tutor about products / suppliers so we recommend waiting to buy any kits. If you would like a convenient way to source products to begin offering treatments immediately following your training day, you may wish to view the following optional starter kit:

Centre Locations
This course is available at all of our 10 training centre locations including: London Kings Cross, London Clapham Junction, London Bridge, Reading, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle.
All training centre locations are our own exclusive, permanent training facilities are set up, ready to train all-year round. Our centres are highly equipped and staffed by our friendly, fully qualified and experienced tutors. We never train from hotel rooms, conference suites or in-salons to ensure you get the best possible learning experience in spacious, well appointed and easily accessible locations.
All training centres can be reached by public transport. Many centres also have parking on-site or within reasonable walking distance.

What Can You Achieve on Completion
Certification
On successful attendance of your training day, you will be sent The Beauty Academy Diploma by email within 2 days of your course. This is accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) allowing you to purchase insurance to work offering your treatments to the public.
Career Opportunities
Upon completion of your course, you can start your own business working from home or mobile offering your treatments. Earn £25-£40 an hour!
Some salons may also accept you for self-employed or employed opportunities, although this does vary across the UK and is dependent on individual salon/employer requirements for their insurance and/or local authority special treatment licensing (as applicable). For those specifically seeking employment or to work outside the UK beyond training, you may wish to consider our International Qualifications.
Insurance on Completion
Our Diploma is accepted by a number of leading beauty (public liability) insurers including Balens, InSync, Radius and many more. It will cover you when providing treatments to the public, but many policies also provide additional benefits such as covering your kit for loss/damage, risk of damage to client property while providing treatments in their home and legal assistance.
You do not need any insurance to attend our courses as you will be covered by our company insurance on the training day(s). This is just for when you start working with the public as a therapist yourself.

I had Yazmin as my tutor and she was amazing! I had done my classic lashes two days before and russian lashes the day before, so I understood how to apply lashes and use the tools.
She really understood how to help us and showed us tips and tricks to use that will help.
She spoke to us about the different fans that you can use and what they mean when they are written as 3D, 4D etc..
She also showed us how to tint the eyelashes before we applied the lashes as hybrid lashes are quite sparse, they’re not as thick as russians or classics.
Yazmin also spoke about insurance companies and where to get kit from.
Would recommend this academy to anyone that wants to train in beauty.

I must applaud my tutor Alexia, I attended the hybrid lash course yesterday and she was by far the best tutor I’ve had out of the 3. She was super helpful, actually came round to check on us, showed us what to do many times and encouraged us to ask questions. I can’t wait to join her on another course! Thank you!

Great tutor, very knowledgeable, so helpful. I did Hybrid Lashes this time, for the other two Russian and Classic I had two more people who were equally as good, yet methods of training were different. I cannot speak highly enough of the Beauty acadamy. I have now completed 9 courses and loved every single one. Did all my courses at London Bridge

I did my 3 course with jess and becca. I was a bit anxious and as soon as i entered they make sure your comfortable and make sure giving you an good learning atmosphere. The theory was well explained and the practice too. They have made the practice very pleasant and easy to learn. Everything beneficial is mentioned and a lot of advice is giving to make sure to feel comfortable and ready for the lashes industry . Becca and jess have been absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back for further courses and wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. It’s definitely worthy and Thank you so much !!

What a great 3 day course we learnt everything to know about the eyes to lashes from classic to hybrids and Russian lashes we had Alexia and Lorraine both amazing tutors . I passed all my courses and left feeling ready to add these skills to my business ! Highly recommend beauty academy . The classes are great fun small groups and u get so much practical time and theory .
I have done at least 6 courses now and plan on many more
