Acrylic Nail Extensions are one of the most popular nail enhancements systems in the UK, using a combination of powder and liquid monomer. You’ll learn the ‘tip & overlay’ method of nail extensions on this course, applying an ABS plastic tip to the natural nail & applying acrylic over this to create a strong, durable nail extension.
You will learn the following on this course, through pre-course reading (e-Manual) and hands-on practical training at the centre:
Health & Safety around nail treatments.
Anatomy & physiology of the skin & nails.
Consultation procedure & contra-indications to acrylic nails.
Basic preparation of natural nails for acrylic extensions.
Application & blending of ABS plastic false tips.
Application of acrylic over the tips to create a strong nail extension.
