Russian style manicures originated in Russia and are also referred to as a dry e-file manicure, 'perfect manicure' or advanced manicure. The process involves a detailed manicure treatment using an e–file and specific nail drill bits to prepare the nail plate and remove cuticle / excess skin along the proximal and lateral folds of the nail. The manicure normally also includes a precise application of gel colour, giving the illusion that the colour starts underneath the eponychium and side walls of the nail. Perfecting these skills will allow you to achieve an intricate manicure with a cleaner, crisper result and longer lasting finish. This course will teach you to work safely and effectively with the e-file, ensuring optimal results without damage to the natural nails.
