About me..

Shakila began her career journey into the beauty industry back in 2005, initially qualifying in all aspects of nail technology before moving onto further training with other aspects of beauty. In 2009, Shakila undertook her PGCE teaching qualification before moving into beauty training.

“I’m so excited to bring two of my passions together working for The Beauty Academy – teaching and beauty! I haven’t stopped learning since I first began in beauty all the way back in 2005. I love everything nails and beauty and the great thing about this industry, is that there is always something new being developed which keeps us learning and our interest peaked.”
