*You will be required to be patch-tested 24-48 hours before the course using the tint and Brow Lamination patch test kit that will be sent to you prior to the course. Students will give and receive treatments as part of this training course. Please note- If you are not able to receive the treatment you will not be able to attend this course. You will train from 10am – 12.30pm on Brow Lamination, a short break for lunch and then cover Brow Shaping & Tinting in the afternoon from 1pm-4pm approximately.

Our Brow Lamination and Tinting course covers all the techniques you need to know to begin earning offering this popular treatment from home and mobile (once insurance has been obtained). Many of us are now opting for brow tinting opposed to wearing make-up day-to-day, giving definition and effortlessly creating the appearance of fuller brows. You will also learn brow tinting plus brow shaping using wax and tweezers to give you skills in providing a full brow service to your clients and removing the need for daily brow make up application. This treatment will allow you to achieve symmetry of the eyebrows, providing desired shape and colour for your client.

Our Brow Lamination treatment will enable you to realign the brows in such a way to give your client the desired shape they want and a fuller look. This is the ultimate solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry and the hairs follow a different pattern. This treatment solves the ‘messy brow’ issue, creates volume and fullness, while giving your client a sleek well kept brow shape for up to 2 months.

This course is structured over a day from 10am until 4pm. You will learn the essential theory of the treatment first, and spend the majority of the session acquiring and practising practical treatment skills. Course timings may very depending on the experience of the students attending, classes may potentially finish earlier than 4pm.

Our diploma courses are suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

Students will be required to give and receive the brow lifting/shaping/tinting aspects of the treatment process as part of this course and so must ensure they complete the patch test no later than 24 hours before attending the course . Please ensure you allow growth of the brow hair before attending the course (where possible). Beyond the initial patch test kit (where required), you will be provided with all products/tools required to complete the training day, on the day at the training centre. 

We do not include any kits within our training courses, however we provide all products and tools required to complete the practical training on the day, at the training centre for you to use. We took this approach following student feedback so that students are not tied into specific kits or brands of products as part of their course fee, before they are trained and able to make an informed choice. Our training courses teach the generic treatment techniques and processes, they are not brand specific.

We recommend attending training where you will gain advice about different brands and suppliers to enable you to purchase products from your chosen supplier directly following your training. We do offer selected starter kits available to purchase through our website & supplied directly from the supplier to you by courier.

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a diploma certificate issued by The Beauty Academy. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home and/or mobile.

Once you have completed your practical training with us, there is no additional work to be completed. Your diploma certificate will be sent to you within 1-2 working days and you can then begin working from home and/or mobile, once insurance has been obtained.
