Many organisations such as FE colleges (e.g. for teaching professionals working within beauty therapy education) and also larger salon employers insist on their staff completing a minimum number of CPD hours each year to maintain their professional qualifications, status and insurance in some cases. It is also recommended by most leading insurers as best practice for all therapists working within the industry whether employed or self-employed to complete additional training either to advance, refresh or improve upon their treatment skills.
All GTi Guild Accredited & VTCT qualifications are certified for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) purposes and each course is awarded the appropriate number of CPD points.
CPD points are awarded upon completion of the full course & achievement of the Guild Accredited certificate from The Guild or upon completion of a VTCT Qualification (such as the Award in Education & Training). These courses combine the opportunity to gain required CPD points with a chance to develop, advance and refresh your training skills to ensuring you are demonstrating best practice & a high level of professionalism to your clients (or students).
