To ensure this, advise your clients to book in for a course of facial skin care treatments beginning at least 3 months before the big day. A natural dewy glow is set to beat heavier make up looks of previous years so look to ensure you have CC creams, camouflage make up products to help with skincare concerns such as hyperpigmentation and don’t forget strobing and highlighting for a smooth, even complexion that glows natural health and beauty. Buildable, light foundations that allow freckles and natural skin to shine through will be the look to achieve, but with no less polish and demure glam finish.
Blushing Brides are Back
Tanning is out and blush is in. A soft pink or peachy cheek cream blush look is definitely set to be huge for Spring and Summer weddings in 2020. Heavy tans and dark bronzers are definitely a no-no this year. Mineral makeup and airbrushing are definitely back in favour and will hugely benefit your client lasting all day and being non-comedogenic so won’t block pores or cause blemishes to pop up once on their honeymoon. The big look this year is all-around focusing on your best feature so whether that is perfect brows or bold eye makeup – but not both. Strong lips have also taken a back seat this year with dark lips set to fade out of favour. In its place with soft shimmery or pastel shades of stain or gloss that complements the natural blush on cheeks. Pearlescent shades of pink, silver, white, peach and taupe will be most in demand with some seeking to off set the very neutral colour pallette with something brighter such as a dark black-red shade or even navy.
