An essential skill for any therapist – waxing is the most popular treatment in most salons Every 4-6 weeks client return for another treatment so you have a continual source of income.  Earn up to £50 per hour working when it suits you!

No previous experience needed to take this waxing course.

Hair removal using waxing is one of the most popular and profitable salon treatments. Wax depilation provides a quick and efficient way of clearing small and large areas of unwanted hair.  Waxing is particularly popular during the summer months.

This waxing training course will cover waxing of:-

• Legs
• Bikini line
• Underarms
• Upper lip
• Eyebrows

NB: To complete this course, students must be prepared to give and receive the treatment.   

Starter Kits are available to complement this course.

This waxing course teaches techniques to successfully create smooth skin. The techniques last up to six weeks where the hair removed grows back finer and remains smooth.

What qualification will I receive?

When you have successfully completed your waxing training course you will receive The Beauty Academy Diploma.  This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients.

NVQ Qualification

If you would like to take the next step, why not register for NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in waxing. A fee of £150 covers your registration and assessment fee. You will be required to complete written and practical assignments from home and then return to us for assessment. This unit can be completed in approximately 10 weeks.
