Qualification: Following your training course you will receive The Beauty Academy Diploma - this will enable you to obtain public liability insurance. You will also receive your NVQ Level 2 in Eye Treatments after assessment and portfolio submission.

Train for your NVQ in Eye Treatments in just one week and gain employment in a salon.

You will learn how to professionally tint the lashes and brows using a range of colours to suit the client's requirements.  By analysing the client's face shape, you will be able to recommend the best brow shape for the individual.  Brow shaping will be taught using waxing and tweezing techniques.

The application of strip and flare lashes will also be covered on this course.

Theory sessions will cover:-

• Health and safety
• Contra-indications to eye treatments
• Contra-actions to eye treatments
• Sterilisation and sanitisation of equipment
• Patch testing
• Anatomy and physiology

Practical sessions will cover:-

• Preparation of the client and the treatment area
• Cleansing the eye area
• Patch testing
• Tinting the eyelashes
• Tinting and shaping the eyebrows
• Application of strip and flare lashes
• After care advice
