By working on the face, neck and shoulders using a variety of techniques and products, you can provide a relaxing treatment that also improves the condition of the skin.
This facial course includes:

- Accurate skin diagnosis using mapping techniques
- Selecting the correct products and techniques to suit your clients' requirements
- Superficial and deep cleansing routines
- Steaming and extraction of skin blockages

- Massage of the face, neck and shoulders using relaxing techniques
- Mask application - you will be shown how to mix your own masks
- Scalp massage
- Application of mosituriser
- Retailing - product advice and pricing
Following the course you will be able to provide a professional facial treatment.

What qualification will I receive?
When you successfully complete the facial massage and skincare course you will receive The Beauty Academy Diploma which allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients.
NVQ Qualification in Facial Massage & Skin Care
If you would like to take the next step, why not register for an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification. A fee of £150 covers your registration and assessment fee. You will be required to complete written and practical assignments from home and then return to us for assessment. This unit can be completed in approximately 10 weeks.
