If you would like to offer a make-up service within a beauty salon, this course will cover all the basic skills required. The course is designed to teach you all the hygiene requirements to apply make-up to national standard level and will cover:
- Health and safety
- Consultation techniques
- Application of concealer, foundation, loose powder, eye shadow, eye liner pencil, mascara, blusher, lip liner and lipstick
- Day make-up
- Evening make-up

What qualification will I receive?
When you successfully complete your make up training course you will receive The Beauty Academy Diploma which allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients.
If you would like to take the next step, why not register for a City & Guilds qualification. A fee of £125 plus VAT covers your registration and assessment fee. You will be required to complete written and practical assignments from home and then return to us for assessment. This unit can be completed in approximately 10 weeks.
