Entry Requirements: Completed Body Massage Course
Module One: £25
The compulsory first module of all of our correspondence courses covers essential information regarding health, safety and hygiene in the salon environment. You need only purchase and complete Module One once as the safety and hygiene guidelines are designed to apply to all procedures in the beauty industry.
Module Two: £30
This module will include:-

the history and benefits of aromatherapy massage and essential oils

the chemical composition of essential oils and the effects on the body
-
properties and uses of carrier oils
-
precautions to be taken when using both carrier and essential oils.
Module Three: £45
In Module Three we will begin to examine the anatomy and physiology relevant to the aromatherapy massage treatment, including the principal systems of the body and the structure of the skin.
Module Four: £75
Once we have examined the effects of massage and stress upon the body, we will discuss the storage, preparation and blending of essential oils used during the treatment. In this module we will examine 22 essential oils, their properties and their blending complements.
We will also discuss the preparation of the treatment room and client, give a detailed guide to the massage procedure and techniques and suggest some homecare advice that might be given to the client.
