Module One: £25
The compulsory first module of all of our correspondence courses covers essential information regarding health, safety and hygiene in the salon environment. You need only purchase and complete Module One once as the safety and hygiene guidelines are designed to apply to all procedures in the beauty industry. Module Two: £50
In order to perform a safe, hygenic and effective treatment, it is necessary to have a good working knowledge of the structure of the skin and hair, including the variety of hair types and growth patterns. In addition to this anatomy and physiology, we will also be covering the contra-indications to the waxing treatment such as skin disorders and symptoms of irregular hair growth.
Module Three: £50
This module covers alternative methods of depilation alongside the purpose and benefits of the waxing treatment. It also includes information on equipment and products required by the therapist, client consultation, safety procedures when dealing with wax and the waxing procedure. Guidelines concerning aftercare are also covered. |
